Common questions
What counts as a "site"?
A site is one physical location or business unit with its own IT environment — a building, office branch, hotel, or resort. If your team manages IT for multiple locations independently, each counts as one site.
Does ITMKit work on Mac or Linux?
ITMKit is Windows only. It runs on Windows 10, Windows 11, and Windows Server 2019 / 2022 (64-bit). Mac and Linux are not supported. Most IT management workstations in the hospitality and enterprise sector run Windows, so this covers the vast majority of our users.
Does it need an internet connection?
No. ITMKit runs fully offline — no internet required after installation. Your data never leaves your machine. The only time internet is needed is for the initial download and license activation.
What does email support include and how long does it last?
Email support means you can reach our team directly for help with setup, usage, or any issue. Single and Multi include 1 year of email support from your purchase date. Chain includes 2 years. After the support period, community documentation and guides remain available. Free users do not receive email support.
Do I get free updates after purchasing?
Yes — all updates within the same major version (v1.x) are free for life. If a major new version is released (v2.0+), existing customers get a discounted upgrade price.
Where is my data stored?
Entirely on your machine. ITMKit never connects to any server. Your data is yours — no cloud, no sync, no vendor access.
What if I change computers?
Contact us with your license key and we'll transfer it to your new machine. One transfer per year is included free.
Can I upgrade from Free to a paid plan?
Yes. Purchase any plan and enter your license key — your existing Free data carries over automatically. Nothing is lost.
Can I upgrade from Single to Multi or Chain?
Yes. Contact us and we'll issue an upgrade license — you only pay the difference. Your data and settings are preserved.
