The Projects module tracks projects from planning to completion — with sub-tasks, progress updates, budget tracking, file attachments, and a full audit trail.
What You Can Do
- Create and manage projects with timelines and budgets
- Break each project into tasks and assign them to team members
- Track task progress with statuses and due dates
- Attach files (proposals, diagrams, reports) to each project
- View the full change history for every task
- Export project data to Excel
Project Fields

Creating a Project
- Go to Projects in the left sidebar.
- Click + New Project.
- Fill in the project name, status, person in charge, and dates.
- Click Save.
The project appears in the list with its status badge.

Project Tasks
Each project can have multiple tasks. Tasks are the individual work items that make up the project.
To add a task:
- Open the project by clicking its name.
- Go to the Tasks tab.
- Click + Add Task.
- Fill in:
- Title — what needs to be done
- Category — type of work
- Assigned To — person handling this task
- Due Date — when it should be completed
- Status — Open / In Progress / On Hold / Completed / N/A
- Click Save.

Updating Task Progress
- Click a task in the task list.
- Update the status, notes, or due date.
- Click Save.
All changes are logged automatically — you can always see who changed what and when.
Task History
Every change to a task is recorded: status updates, reassignments, due date changes, and notes. To view:
- Click the task.
- Scroll to the History section.
Attachments
Each project has a dedicated attachments area for files related to the project.
- Open the project.
- Go to the Attachments tab.
- Click Upload and select your file.
Supported formats: PDF, Word, Excel, images, and more.
Project Information Tab
The Information tab is a free-text area for project description, scope, objectives, or any notes that don’t fit the structured fields.
Export to Excel
- Click Export on the project list.
- The export includes all projects and their task summaries.
